ABOUT PAGE ONE PUBLISHING
Page One Publishing was set up in Singapore in 1993, as a result of the passion of Page One's CEO and publisher, Mark Tan, for architecture and design books. It now completes the supply chain where it is able to produce books originating from Asia and distribute them through its extensive network of operations worldwide.
Page One Publishing has made a world-wide name for itself; it has grown to be not only a specialist in the architecture and design fields, but also in publications related to the arts and lifestyle. The Singapore-based publishing team comprises editors, sub-editors, art directors, writers, designers, sales and marketing professionals, as well as a large pool of local and foreign contributors. With backgrounds in architecture, design and the arts, the publishing team has put together original titles related to architecture, interior design, lifestyle and photography. It is also the team behind the popular architecture and design magazine, iSh, which was discontinued in 2009 after a successful decade in print.
Page One publishing aims to be the platform that brings together authors and artist from the region and the world over, establishing itself as a leader in architecture and design publications. A number of its titles have been translated into foreign languages, including Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Norwegian, Italian, Spanish and Swedish. It also collaborates and trades rights with foreign publishers, thereby collectively putting together the best talents and materials from all over the world.
